ACCESSORIES REPORT: Dream Big

No one knows how brutal the weather is here in Boston until you live through it. I hate to break it to all of you, but the days of sunshine and open toed shoes are coming to an end. When you can barely get out of bed in the morning and the rain doesn’t stop for hours on end, looking in your closet and picking out an outfit can be a bit daunting.  While walking down Commonwealth Avenue on these said days you can tell that the majority of campus feels the same way.

In the midst of rain jackets, umbrellas and rain boots I stopped this Fashionista to snag a picture. Dressed in medium wash J Brand skinnies and a cream colored lace top I couldn’t help but stop her. To add even more warmth to brave the cold, she layered a plaid button down and a tribal printed army coat on top. Her pièce de résistance is the Native American-inspired hoops hanging from her ears. The pink, blue and green beads hanging from the earrings enhance the contrast between her dark hair and her fair skin.

There is no doubt that there has been a tribal influence on many outfits this season. To incorporate this look into your wardrobe try on a pair of these Francesca’s dream catchers. Urban Outfitters carries a single earring that can add a unique twist to any outfit.

Spotted: Tribal prints and matching jewelry in Vivienne Tam’s collection.
