It seems lately everyone has been on a snakeskin streak with this reptile print turning up in daywear, shoes and, most noteworthy, accessories. I for one have had a fixation on snakeskin handbags and nearly died of envy when I spotted today's trendsetter.

Sticking with neutral tones for this exotic skin is the easiest way to adopt this trend. However, today's featured Fashionista took it to the extreme with her turqouise snakeskin clutch. Bold colored snake skin takes this trend to a whole new level. Plus, there is no need to feel guilty about wearing this print. Go faux with your snakeskin accessories for budget and humanitarian reasons alike.

Spotted: This Fashionista happens to be an emerging designer for the collection Emily Cho. Her fall/winter 2011 accessories focus on snakeskin printed accessories in unique shapes. The runways were full of snakeskin references, especially Prada's fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear show.
