Mixing a bold colored pant and neutral accessories is a look that is continually being reinterpreted in Boston this spring. I spotted this Fashionista in hot pink/red skinny jeans similar to these by 7 For All Mankind. She lets the bright color stand out by wearing a simple white tank, a cropped jacket and ballet flats. Her olive green shoulder bag can be used all year round and is a great alternative to the more common neutrals, camel and black. Try this shoulder bag by ASOS in mint green — the summer’s number one trendy color.

The best part of her look is her newly styled hair. We’ve seen a lot of edgy hairstyles this season from cropped bangs to semi-dried strands, however a full volume blowout is hands down the most feminine and low-risk. Versace turned to Donatella herself for hair inspiration. It was all about full body at the crown and soft, bouncy waves at the ends on this Milan runway. Anna Sui went for Studio 54 glamor with relaxed waves and deep side-parts à la Bianca Jagger. To get a voluminous hairstyle similar to this Fashionista, minus the trip to the hair salon, start with damp hair and a dot of de-frizzing serum. Run a round brush down three inch sections of hair from root to tip with a hairdryer at the medium temperature setting to avoid heat damage. End with Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Finishing Spray.
