Military-inspired fashion is having a big moment right now, making army green one of the hottest shades of the season. MaxMara, Threeasfour and Topshop Unique all filled their fall runways with this new neutral. You'll find this versatile shade in every Fashionista's closet this winter. The color has something to offer everyone, from the most girly of girls to the rough and tough Fashionista.

This week’s Fashionista goes for a subtle military reference in her light, army green denim, an airy white blouse and gray riding boots. The mix of neutrals creates a soft, feminine look, challenging all assumptions that military-inspired fashion has to be masculine and rugged.

Green has never really made a big splash in the fashion world, but this surprisingly neutral shade is everywhere right now, and there are tons of ways to wear it. One great thing about this color is that its military influence can add just the right amount of edge to your look without it being overpowering. With this shade it’s all about what you pair it with. Wear this sheer blouse with black jeans or leather leggings for a chic nighttime look. Or layer this button-up over your favorite graphic T-shirt and pair with jeans and ankle boots for a casual, everyday look. For a little more color, try these army green skinny jeans from ASOS. Top these off with a cream, lace top to add a feminine touch or go for a simple, chambray button-up. My favorite piece this season is an army green anorak, like this one from NASTY GAL. This super versatile jacket looks great with jeans for a day of classes or thrown over a dress for a night out.

Alexander Wang, rag & bone and Balenciaga are just a few of the dozens of designers whose fall runways showcased all kinds of fabulous fur pieces. Designers brought out everything from boldly colored fur vests to more understated fur-trimmed jackets. While the bolder pieces may not fit into our everyday, this is still one runway look that can easily transition into a wearable everyday piece when done the right way.

This week’s Fashionista looks super chic in on-trend oxblood skinny jeans, a sheer patterned blouse and a cropped faux fur vest. The neutral color and simple cut of the vest are not too overwhelming, making it a versatile wardrobe piece. This Fashionista knows that one secret to making a fabulous outfit is mixing up your look with several contrasting fabrics. Pairing stretchy denim and an airy, lightweight blouse with the soft fur of the vest creates a contrast of texture that makes the outfit more interesting and appealing.

Whether you want to add a lot or a little, mixing some fur into your winter wardrobe will both keep you cozy and bump your look up from stylish to undoubtedly chic. For a more understated look like this week’s Fashionista, try this faux-fur vest from Nordstrom. The neutral browns can be paired with virtually anything. Throw it on with jeans and a long sleeve T-shirt to add flair to your daytime look, or pair it with your favorite dress for an evening look. For something a little bolder, this black and gray faux-fur vest has a more edgy, feathered look that would look great paired with black skinny jeans and a boldly colored top for a night out. If you’re ready to go all out, try this cropped faux-fur jacket from Lucky Brand Jeans. Wear it with regular or colored denim and a simple top during the day and then wear it over your outfit for the night to stay warm while still looking chic. Whichever look you try, be confident and go fur it!

On a cold winter day there are few things better than curling up in front of a fire with your favorite blanket. Unfortunately, as college students it is more likely that we find ourselves curled up in a corner of the library cramming for the next exam. I would be lying if I said I never considered what my professor’s reaction might be if I brought my big, warm blanket to class with me. Luckily, staying comfy and cozy while still looking fashionable is easier than ever. Stores are chock full of super soft sweaters and thick, cozy scarves that make those long, cold winter days more than manageable .

This week’s Fashionista has cozy-chic nailed, creating an effortlessly stylish outfit with lots of comfy layers. She layered a long sleeve T-shirt with a super soft, slouchy sweater vest and a thick infinity scarf, all paired with a pair of jeans and slouchy boots. If you want to replicate this look, try this oversized cocoon sweater from LOFT over your favorite long sleeve T-shirt. Top it off with this chunky infinity scarf from Nordstrom and your favorite pair of jeans.

Follow this Fashionista’s lead and go for lots of layers to achieve the coziest look and feel. Try a chunky oversized sweater, like this one from NASTY GAL, paired with a fun piece, like this faux fur snood from ASOS. Or layer an oversized cardigan and thick scarf over your favorite casual dress with slouchy boots. This oversized, open cardigan from PacSun is about as close as you can get to wearing an actual blanket. Pair it with a long sleeve T-shirt and your favorite pair of colored denim for an outfit that's equal parts comfort and style.

I know that more than once I, along with my fellow Fashionistas, have lamented the ease with which guys can put together an outfit. While we ladies could spend hours mulling over which wedges best complement our floral blouse, it seems as though all the boys have to do is throw on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt and they’re good to go. However, it is usually the guys who get a little more creative with their wardrobe that catch my eye. By investing in a few stylish pieces each season, putting together an outfit is as simple as simply mixing and matching some key pieces. Getting ready remains a cinch, but the end result is a much more well thought-out and stylish look.

This Fashionisto epitomizes cool, casual and comfortable in jeans, a flannel button-down and an army-green bomber jacket. The layered look is perfect for this time of year, both in terms of looks and comfort.

Flannel is huge this season for both men and women. Guys can keep it buttoned-up like this Fashionisto, or leave it open to showcase a cool graphic T-shirt underneath. The classic pattern looks great in tons of colors and ups the cool factor for jeans and a T-shirt. This Fashionisto chose a pair of gray Converse All-Stars to keep with the cool, casual vibe of the outfit. Top off the look with a military-inspired jacket, like this one from Urban Outfitters, which will be a great addition to any casual outfit this winter. The army-green color is everywhere this seasn and looks great with denim and other neutral colors.

If this season has a color, it is most definitely oxblood. The deep, gorgeous hue, a combination of red wine and burgundy, is everywhere this fall. Alexander Wang, Rodarte and Saint Laurent are just a few of the designers whose runways featured the rich shade. Designers are using this bordeaux shade on everything from dresses and jackets to nail polish. Don’t let the strange name put you off; it won’t take long to fall in love with this color.

This week’s Fashionista demonstrates the perfect way to use oxblood to create a cute and casual outfit that's perfect for a day of classes. Layering a graphic T-shirt and chambray button up with her oxblood skinny jeans and combat boots, the result is an effortlessly stylish look. Try these jeans from Nordstrom to recreate the look.

There are countless ways to incorporate this gorgeous, universally flattering color into your wardrobe this fall. ASOS has an entire section of their website dedicated to the color, featuring everything from metallic sheen blazers to knit hats and scarves. These lace shorts from Madewell would look fantastic paired with black opaque tights, booties and a flowy blouse or chunky sweater. Now that we're approaching the holiday season, there will be tons of occasions to try out your new favorite color. For a holiday party try this cutout dress from Free People with tights, heels and a cropped leather jacket. There’s really no way to go wrong with this versatile shade, so don’t be afraid to mix it up!

We’ve now reached that point in the semester where exams and assignments are weighing us down and dragging ourselves out of bed in the morning stars to feel like an accomplishment on its own. Forget about putting together the perfect outfit. It can be tempting to just leave on your yoga pants and call it a day, but fortunately there is a much more stylish, and equally as effortless option. Comfortable, versatile and chic, colored denim will quickly become your favorite item in your wardrobe this fall. Something about colored denim is just effortlessly chic, which lends the same feeling to your outfit. The instant pop of color will brighten your morning as well as your outfit. Throw on a cozy sweater and some boots and no one will ever know you rolled out of bed fifteen minutes before class!

This week’s Fashionista, Yani Weldon, has got this look perfected. Pairing her berry-colored jeans with a comfy white and gray striped sweater and soft grey booties, she is the epitome of comfy-chic. While the look may have been bland with regular denim, the fun color brightens up the look and adds a fresh twist.

Colored denim is everywhere this season, so you won’t need to look far to find a pair you love. Over the summer we saw lots of neon and pastel denim, but fall introduces jewel tones, deep mustard yellows and oxblood. Nordstrom has a huge selection of colors, like these burnt orange skinny jeans that also come in mustard yellow and emerald green. There are lots of options when it comes to completing your look. Since the colored denim makes a bold statement, it’s best to keep the rest of the look relatively simple with a plain T-shirt, scarf and sweater or blazer to top it off. A subtle print top would also look great as long as accessories are kept minimal. Oxblood seems to be the color of the season and a pair of jeans in this gorgeous color would look great paired with black booties and a neutral top. One of the best part about colored denim is their versatility. They don't have the same casual vibe as regular denim, so they are equally appropriate for a day of classes or dressed up for a night out. You can't go wrong with this fun fashion staple, so feel free to lose yourself in the color craze.

Menswear-inspired fashion has been a steady presence on the runways for the past few seasons. Designers have become more and more innovative, bringing us lots of unique ways to rock menswear-inspired pieces. This season Jason Wu created a tailored tuxedo, Ralph Lauren channeled a more androgynous look, and Isabel Marant put together a perfect boyfriend look with comfy, oversized shirts and jackets. Whether you prefer edgy, classic, feminine or something in between, there are tons of different ways to incoorperate menswear-inspired pieces into your wardrobe.

For those who love the menswear-inspired fashions but prefer a more feminine look, take note of this week’s Fashionista. This Fashionista nailed the look by creating the perfect combination of menswear with a feminine twist. Pairing a sheer black blouse with classic skinny jeans, she allowed the animal print necktie of her blouse to hang loose, giving her look a little less structure and a more casual vibe. Paired with black smoking shoes from Target, she created a simple, feminine and fashion-forward outfit that drew my attention immediately.

As the Fashionista demonstrates, putting a feminine twist on menswear-inspired fashion is all about the details. The sheer material of the blouse with animal print detailing and a draped sillhouette lent a feminine and girly vibe to the top. Soft, sheer materials and color are a great way to add ladylike touches to menswear-inspired pieces. This chiffon blouse from Urban Outfitters comes in great colors and would look fantastic with simple, dark wash jeans for a classic and casual look. For an edgier look, pair the top with leather leggings and lace-up booties for a menswear-inspired look that is both girly and funky. This Fashionista's simple black smoking shoes are so classic and versatile, but if you're looking for another way to add some feminine flair, try a pair of these loafers in a soft print. Or try a pair of shimmery oxfords, which would look great paired with skinny jeans and the Urban Outfitters blouse. When going for a menswear-inspired look it's usually best to let the pieces stand on their own and not try to add feminine touches with lots of jewelery. Instead, stick with one great piece, like an oversized watch.

Bold prints are huge this season, and designers and Fashionistas alike have found that tribal-inspired prints are the perfect way to break loose from all the floral print and stripes. Donna Karan’s fall runway featured beautiful body con dresses in warm, desert hued tribal prints. J. Mendel added brighter colors and sequins to his abstract tribal print dresses, while Gwen Stefani for L.A.M.B. created eye-catching pantsuits in black and white tribal print.

This week’s Fashionista, Caroline Hudson, nailed two trends in one with her high-waist tribal print shorts. She balanced the look perfectly with a simple, coordinating long sleeve T-shirt and cowboy boots, adding the touch of southern flair that is so characteristic of Clemson.

There are so many fun ways to incorporate tribal print into your wardrobe this season. This cozy sweater from PacSun would look great with jeans and boots for a day of classes. For something a little funkier, try these tribal print leggings with black booties and an oversized, solid color blouse for a night out. If you’re not feeling quite that brave, this peplum top would also be great for a night on the town, paired with black skinny jeans, heels, and a bright blazer. If the bold print just isn’t your style, you can still add some tribal-inspired touches to your wardrobe with the right accessories. To add a subtle hint of the print try a graphic cuff like from BCBG, or this gold cuff from LuLu's with an etched chevron print. If you want something with a little more edge, look for one of this season's statement necklaces that has been infused with a little tribal flavor. This gold bib necklace from Forever 21 can be paired with virtually any top to add a little excitement and flair. If you're looking for something more understated, gold and wooden bangles are extremely versatile and add a touch of tribal to any outfit.

Blazers have been a wardrobe staple for a while now, but this season designers are taking them to all new heights. Fall runways were chock full of all different textures, colors and cuts. Designers debuted gorgeous blazers with new accents, like Helmut Lang's sleek leather sleeves. Ralph Lauren's runway featured classic blazers in jewel tone velvet and Jason Wu gave his blazers an edge with beautiful fur trim. Lanvin, Michael Kors and alice + olivia were just a few of the dozens of designers who decided to spice up their blazers with bouclé and tweed.

This week’s Fashionista gave her classic navy blazer a feminine touch with a textured white blouse and a pink statement necklace. She balanced the look with skinny jeans and brown leather boots.

If you prefer the more classic look like this Fashionista, try this blazer from Tobi. Keep the rest of your look simple with jeans and flats or boots, but avoid your outfit falling flat by adding pop of color with a bright blouse or statement necklace. Boyfriend blazers also come in a great classic shape but are more menswear inspired. This blazer from Urban Outfitters comes in so many fun colors, and would look great with jeans or thrown over a dress when the weather gets chilly. This season is all about being bold so don’t feel like you need to stick with basic black. Snag a blazer in a fun print or bright color to really make a statement. If you want something a little different try this bouclé and tweed blazer from H&M. The gorgeous fabric adds texure and interest to your look and would be a great way to spice up a simple white T-shirt and jeans. Or toss it over your favorite little black dress to add a fresh twist. Color blocking is also making a huge appearance in blazers this season, and the fun look is a great way to take your look from ordinary to unexpected. Whatever your style there is a blazer for you this season. When shopping this season try to be a little adventurous and don't shy away from bold prints, different fits and fun textures. Remember Fashionistas, it is our duty to be trend-setters and blaze the trail for others!

Even among a sea of purple and orange, this Fashionsta stood out on game day in Clemson, which is not an easy feat. Wearing an on-trend high-low dress in a purple and orange leopard print, she rocked her game day look. Keeping the rest of her outfit simple with strappy sandals and minimal jewelery, she allowed the colorful print to make a bold statement on its own.

This season animal inspired attire is everywhere. While leopard and zebra print have been in our closets for a while now, this season it’s all about putting a new twist on your animal prints. Follow this Fashionista’s lead and try an animal print in bold unexpected colors. Or try one of your favorite wardrobe pieces in a bold print, like an animal print blazer or leopard print smoker's shoes. In addition to the animal prints we know and love, designers are also introducing a new type of animal inspired fashion, where the animals themselves make the print. This graphic T-shirt from Forever 21 would look great tucked into high-waist shorts or jeans and topped with a blazer. To some, these prints can seem a little too bold, but it's all about what you pair it with. This graphic sweater from H&M would look awesome paired with a leather motorcycle jacket or leather pencil skirt. There is also a ton of animal inspired jewelry on the runway and in stores, like this jungle cat necklace and snake cuff, both from NASTY GAL. These fun pieces would be the perfect finishing touch to an outfit in need of a little excitement. The most important advice for unleashing your wild side this season is to do it all with confidence!
