Sunday brunch is the best part of the week. It’s the time for you and your girlfriends to meet up, get some delicious food, and catch up! But it is also a time to show off your brand new outfit, and there is no better time to look on trend than when you are out with your friends. Staying on trend and looking fashionable can become expensive as trends die quickly and new ones are brought to life. But, don’t worry! These easy tips can help you look fashionable with pieces you already have in your wardrobe!

Accessorize Your Plain Outfit

Accessorizing a basic or plain outfit can repurpose it. It can go from casual to a night out style by using accessories. If you have worn an article of clothing before around this particular group of friends, then don’t fret! Adding accessories like dainty bracelets and necklaces can turn your casual dress into a cute ready-for-brunch dress. Watches and a white or black clutch or small purse to carry your phone and cards will tie the whole look together.

Adopt One Trend to Make Your Outfit Stand Out

This spring and summer, one huge trend in women’s fashion has been the off-the-shoulder look! These tops hang lower than the collarbones and show off a bit of cleavage if you’d like or you can have it hang a bit higher. You can wear off-the-shoulder tops for almost every occasion: a date, to the mall, to brunch, Sunday dinner with the family, and more.

Wear Strappy Sandals or Wedges to Have the Perfect Daytime Look

Summer is the perfect season to rock your opened-toe shoes, and sandals and wedges are a must for any summer time outfit. Brown and black sandals can go with almost any look and can be styled for daytime and even nighttime casual outings.

Pretty in Patterns—How to Style the Color of the Year

From floral to paisley, patterns are a summer staple, but styling them can be a bit challenging. This article will show you how to style your patterned outfit for a perfect and flirty daytime outfit. While pastels are in fashion for the summer, Pantone declared the color of the year for 2017, as “Greenery” which the Pantone Color Institute describes as a “zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring.”

This dress is one that fits all that is in style for the summer! The zesty green plus the pattern that is to die for. What is great about these kinds of patterns is that they are wearable for both daytime and nighttime events. All you have to do is dress them for that event with the proper shoes, handbag, and jewelry.

If you are the kind of person who loves to stay active but wants to stay on trend, you can achieve a daytime and a more active-friendly look with a patterned sundress. You can wear that outfit for daytime activities like day dates to the zoo, brunch with your girlfriends, or a day in the city. Just pair it with black Vans sneakers to make it easier for you to walk and get around.

With such a casual and daytime-friendly look, patterns are usually more difficult to style with handbags or purses. Personally, I love small backpacks. They are useful, small, and oh so cute! With a green and white pattern like the one shown above, you can add a black, white, brown, or really any solid-colored backpack to carry your stuff in while keeping your arms free!

For a nighttime look, either for going to a party or going on a date, just pair the dress with a solid-colored opened or closed-toe shoe, depending on the occasion and the situation. As you know, the makeup look makes the outfit, so don’t forget to get creative—or not—depending on what you like and what you want to get out of your entire look!

A Dewy and Doable “No Makeup” Look

It’s summertime, and for many of us, that means beach days, bonfires, and water parks. That means that you don’t always have the time to have full glam makeup! Worry not! These are some of my favorite products for my favorite 20 minutes fresh-faced, glowy summer makeup look!

If you are more prone to oily skin, you are going to want a mattifying primer to apply before your foundation. I prefer airbrush foundations because they are fast, easy to blend, and leave a seamlessly perfect looking skin. The Benefit POREfessional Matte Rescue Invisible Finish Mattifying Gel. You can apply it alone or in addition to your favorite silicone-based primer, and it will leave your foundation looking flawless and your pores invisible, as it minimizes your pores and controls the oils in your skin. Another great primer that can be used to achieve the same goal is the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector. To achieve a poreless and natural skin look, just squeeze some of the product on your fingertips, then rub it with your fingers until it goes from a creamy eggshell white shade to clear. Then proceed to apply it to the areas in which your skin gets the oiliest (T-zone, eyelids, etc… ).

The best and easiest way to achieve the “no makeup” makeup look is shimmery liquid eyeshadow. It has an applicator and all I would need to do is blend it with my fingertips as much as I see fits, based on the desired intensity. I then apply my favorite waterproof mascara, and the eye look is complete!

To bring a color to the cheeks, I love using a warm bronzer with or without a bright and pigmented blush depending on the look! My personal favorite bronzers are from Physician’s Formula, which you can find at the drugstore or Ulta.com. They are highly pigmented, blend beautiful, and are awesome for when you are on a budget.

Highlighters are very important and complete your look no matter what, however, they are especially a staple for every summer glowing look. Highlighters help reflect the sun off of your face and make you look radiant, as well as fresh-faced, without looking overly shimmery. Using liquid highlighters, like the Benefit Cosmetics High Beam Face Liquid Highlight makes this process much easier! Apply some onto the high points of your face—your cheekbones, eyebrow bones, temples, bridge of the nose, and your cupid’s bow. This will emphasize your glow and make it look natural and beautiful!

When it comes to summer lip look, you can never go wrong with a pink-nude lipstick or a gloss. This set is the perfect find for a summer look. The final touches of the lips will complete this easy and beautiful summer makeup look!
