Ann Arbor is a town that has something to offer everyone. Everything from food to clothing brings a lot of variety, which is what gives the town its diverse character. I’ve featured several unique boutiques around Ann Arbor on CollegeFashionista, and there are many more that deserve attention.
YCI Clothing is a boutique located at 1119 South University. The store features several upscale brands, and carries everything including clothing, shoes, and accessories. Some of the brands include J Brand, True Religion, French Connection, Tracey Reese, Elizabeth and James, and many more. Most of the pieces are on the pricey side, ranging from about $100- $300. However, this is the place to find high quality designer pieces, and to splurge on a staple garment or accessory. For example, I really love this David Lerner Dress with lace detail, and these Elizabeth and James booties with ruffle detail in the front. Another piece that stood out to me was a zig-zag patterned asymmetrical sequined tank by Jay Godfrey. The store is conveniently located on campus, making it an alluring stop in between classes. You can also order items from the website, however there are more pieces available in store, and some brands are not carried online. I encourage all Fashionistas willing to invest in a quality piece to check out YCI Clothing.
