While holiday shopping I kept finding myself returning to the Ralph Lauren section of my favorite department stores. Something about that classic Americana look and sudden love for red, white and blue made me want to convert my entire wardrobe into that of a RL groupie. Usually my style ranges from MK-inspired one day to Audrey Hepburn chic the next. I wouldn't ever say I dress in preppy pieces and have usually found that look rather boring for my tastes. But, apparently my wardrobe and appetite for fashion have much changed. The thought of receiving a Ralph Lauren cable knit sweater for the holidays couldn't make me happier.
A general trend in 2010 has been showing love and support for our country. Those three colors that usually pop up around Fourth of July have been manifested each season this year reminding us to be grateful to live in the USA.

Now that most of us are full fledge on winter break, boys, it's time to spruce up your wardrobe a bit. You don't have to be a hipster to be at the forefront of fashion. Combining your classic pieces and a red, white and blue color palette might land you a title of Fashionisto by your lady friends and hey, who wouldn't want that self-esteem bump to ring in the new year?
