Erin Wasson never ceases to amaze me. First of all, she’s absolutely stunning and is known as one of the most hard-working models in the industry. And it is no wonder seeing as she’s appeared in print ads for Victoria’s Secret, walked the runways for various prominent designers (such as Chanel and Balenciaga), and has also been the face of several designer and cosmetic ad campaigns (such as Michael Kors and Maybelline). As if that wasn’t already impressive enough, Wasson has not only played muse to Alexander Wang but has even personally styled two of his shows. But of course, being a model, muse, and stylist is not enough for this Texas native. I think Wasson herself puts it best, as she said to in February 2008: “I have too much going on in my brain to just be a face, an image, without a voice behind it.” It should come as no surprise then that Wasson is currently dabbling in yet another role – designer. In August 2008, Wasson announced that she would be launching a women’s line for RVCA, Erin Wasson x RVCA. But of course, that was only one of her projects. Wasson recently left this impressive womenswear line to focus more on her jewelry line, Low Luv by Erin Wasson, which made its debut in Fall 2008 during Alexander Wang’s runway show. Low Luv is edgy and most of Wasson’s pieces evoke a tribal and ethnic feel. This Gypsy Ankle Bracelet in Gold, which is appropriately named, is a good example of what I’m talking about. The distressed details in most of the Low Luv pieces can definitely add subtle edge to any outfit, no matter what your own unique style is. I’m personally a fan of this Silver Deco Ring, which I wear with many of my more casual outfits. Check out the rest of the Low Luv collection at for pieces as low as $30.
