For Indiana University, classes begin in less than one week. Campus is overflowing with new eager students and those students that just want to be done already. No matter how you feel, it is time to head back to school. The good thing about the first day of classes is choosing your first day of school outfit (of course).
Ever since we were young children heading off to our first day of school in kindergarten, we have been working on perfecting that first day of school outfit. We always had to make sure it was unforgettable but not look like we were trying too hard. One trend that is definitely a contender for this year’s ensemble would have to be floral frocks.
For the fall season, try a floral print that has a darker background or undertone like this Fashionista. The teal and navy blue background adds warmth but still allows for femininity with the bright red floral pattern. Try placing a simple belt on the waistline on a larger dress because it allows your curves to be accentuated and adds a slimming touch. My favorite part of her outfit is the sequin gold embellished flats because they will catch everyone’s attention on any Fashionista's first day back to school.
