FASHION FROM ABROAD: Spring Is In The Hair

Since the little groundhog didn’t see his shadow this year we can all get ready to say goodbye to winter a little sooner. Spring has certainly sprung as in the case of this Fashionista who was spotted on Pont Alexandre III snapping her own pictures. Today was unusually warm for Paris in February, and it was a nice glimpse of the warmer months to come. Flowers were being planted, the sky was clear and everyone was out. Those expecting wind and rain were peeling off scarves and thick jackets while the savvy ones (pictured here) enjoyed the breeze and the sun with their light layers. This Fashionista’s outfit captured the day’s theme with her flower prints, bright primped hair and her overall positive vibe. Her bandana (Urban Outfitters sells a headband with a similar feel), oxfords, and of course her hair, a nod to the 50s Rockabilly style, complete with a drawn on beauty mark! She keeps this look relevant and up to date with a vintage jacket with a corduroy collar (very common in Dad attire), a vintage T-shirt in XL whose pattern has been faded, and her light makeup. With a look all her own, she’s ready for spring.
