Forever 21 – known for getting in trouble for copying designers – is trudging into uncharted territory by actually collaborating with a designer for the first time! Brian Lichtenberg is launching a 12-piece line with the Forever 21 retail store. The designer is known for his unique design style which, typically includes 80’s style cut outs, contemporary angles, and a touch of outer space. This is the first designer to work with Forever 21 and it couldn’t be a better match. Brian Lichtenberg is very popular with Hollywood Celebrities such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga (one of his Forever 21 pieces is said to look like the caution tape outfit he made for Lady Gaga in her “Telephone” video), Ciara, Katy Perry, Rihanna, and many more. The Forever 21 line is shirts only, which will include graphic t-shirts and tank tops. Look out for it to hit stores August 13th!
