FASHION NEWS: Wildcats strut their stuff on the runway

Students will model in the National Society for Black Engineers’ Semi-Annual Spring Fashion Show and Concert on March 7th, 2010. The show will cost between $10-$15 and proceeds from the show will go towards sending the society to a national convention in Toronto. Because  Tucson is not exactly known for their wealth of fashion, I thought that this show would be especially interesting to our Wildcat fashionistas. The models will wear clothes from Dillard's and while it will be no Zac Posen at Bryant Park, the show will be sure to make Tucson proud. I do not know about you, but hearing and reading about all of the great looks going down the runways have caused me to crave my very own front row seating in front of a catwalk. To my great excitement, I read about this show! I think it will be nice to support the students of the university while having some fun with fashion. I am especially excited about this show because one of our very own fashion gurus, Jessaca, will be modeling in the show! (She is going to kill me when she sees this shameless plug). Anywho, I hope all of you loyal fashionistas will check the event out and get your very own taste of fashion week, Tucson style.

P.S. I think I am going to start leaving you with some kind of inspiring, fashion-inducing quote after my posts and here goes the first one!

"Fashion fades, only style remains the same."  -Coco Chanel
