FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT: Jordan Gavens

The first few weeks of school are crucial for making a good first impression. While walking around campus this fall, I’ve been feeling really inspired! From colored denim and leather sleeves to riding boots and comfortable knits, students at University of Michigan are definitely fashion-forward this semester.

While walking to class, I spotted this Fashionista. Being the chilly day that it was, this Fashionista broke out her favorite corduroys, leather riding boots, The North Face vest and striped sweater. Although you might be thinking it’s a bit too warm to be sporting corduroy, the cool weather is beginning to sneak up on us and having the perfect pair of cords is wardrobe essential. I do love my denim, but there’s something tempting about putting on warm corduroys with your favorite sweaters and cardigans.
