A great way to view summer dressing is you can show more skin in an acceptable and tasteful way. When you feel confident about your body and feel great in your own skin, why not show off more of your tanned summer limbs? This Fashionista exhibits a great approach to wearing a crop top in the heat. By exposing more of her torso, she compensates for it with longer capris instead of shorts. Because of her Dominican background, her trips to the Dominican Republic nurture her love for hot weather and summer dressing. Her Dominican and Korean cultures really inspire her outfits. While on campus in a sea of students, it is refreshing to see girls who represent their different cultures and backgrounds by how they dress and accessorize. This Fashionista wears elaborate earrings she bought in the Dominican Republic to add some extra flair to her outfits. So when someone asks where she got those earrings, they are one of a kind!

How To: Create this Fashionista’s boho look by shopping for neutral basics. Look for earth tones in pants, shirts and shoes. A crop top that comes just above your belly button is a good rule of thumb to shop by. Accessorize with a leather bag and leather sandals that tie together the earthy theme. To make it uniquely your own, find jewelry that is handmade and special to you.
