Hey, Upper East Siders! It's summer in New York and today's Fashionista of the Week shows us how to work the weather to her advantage. Dipped in a maxi peasant skirt, a floral scarf, vintage faux croc bag, embellished TOMS and, of course, her latte, I don't think there is a single thing her look is missing. Okay maybe Blair Waldrof sitting next to her, but nobodies perfect, right?
Whether you are in Manhattan for the summer or sitting poolside in LA, summer means heat and figuring out ways to fashionably beat it. I think it's safe to say today's Fashionista does just that. I am a huge advocate of summer scarves and using this accessory as a necklace and also as a wrap in case the weather becomes finicky. Also, dressing in TOMS is never out of style; especially stand out ones like her gold pair. Between running to your internship, hitting a yoga class and relaxing in a park with your girlies, being able to move around town quickly is key.
