As a senior in college the most important thing to us is getting a job by May. To get us closer to that wish we set out on finding the perfect internship in hopes that it will turn into a job. This Fashionista landed her dream internship. Her next step was to perfect her office attire. No Fashionista wants to have a mishap while just starting out in the Fashion world.

CollegeFashionista: Did you find it stressful to dress for your internship?
Ashley Petroso: At first I was so stressed about having the perfect outfits and trendy accessories. I continued to question myself until I realized that there was no reason for that. I started to look through my closet and began to put outfits together. It became really fun for me to do that!
CF: What would you say is a key item that you think every working woman should have?
AP: I would say a black blazer. No matter what type of outfit you are wearing you can throw a blazer on to really pull it together and make it look professional.
CF: Any fashion advice you would give young women entering the professional world?
AP: I would say, don’t question yourself. My other advice would be to wear flat shoes to work and change into your heels once arriving! It will save you, I promise!
