FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT: Janice Lee

It's finals week in NYU which means nobody has the time to meticulously plan the perfect outfit. But that doesn't mean you can't look casual chic! Today's Fashionista managed to combine comfort (because who wants to wear heels and a mini skirt during exams?) and style in a laidback outfit. One of my all-time favorite styling tips is to make one thing pop from your outfit and I was thrilled to see that today's Fashionista did just that! She laid a black foundation with a simple black tank top, black leggings, and a pair of black combat boots. She then chose a red and blue plaid flannel shirt that popped over the black. To match her shirt, she opted for a bright red Longchamp bag.

Name: Janice Lee

Major: Hotel Management

Year: Freshman

CollegeFashionista: How would you describe your style?

Janice Lee: I like comfortable outfits, so I try to be as comfortable as possible every time.

CF: Where do you look for fashion inspiration?

JL: I look at blogs online. I get a lot of fashion inspiration from Tumblr

CF: Where do you like to shop?

JL: I like to shop at Zara and H&M.

CF: What is your biggest fashion don't?

JL: Uggs with shorts.

CF: Who are your favorite designers?

JL: Phillip Lim and Alexander Wang.

CF: What is your fashion staple?

JL: My leggings.

How To: Start with the basic black tank top, the black leggings, and the black combat boots. Then find a slightly oversized flannel shirt. Steer clear of dark colors since it won't pop against the black. Grab a bright Longchamp bag and finish off your outfit with a simple necklace!

  2. Center fielder Lee Jung-hoo, a major league hopeful who will be posted by the Kiwoom Heroes after this season, had an infield single and a sacrifice fly from the leadoff spot.
