One of my all time favorite looks is Parisian chic. There is something about the French that is so effortless, yet also pulled together. Their use of mixing bright and multed colors is undeniably impeccable. This Fashionista struck me for her similar qualities. The colors red, black and white really resonate as truly Parisian. Her olive green TOMS played well with her loose black sweater and untucked white blouse to create an effortlessly chic look. Her red denim pants added some pop to a casual ensemble, as well as being one of the biggest trends of the season!
Name: Joey Fitzsimmons
CollegeFashionista: What inspires your style?
Joey Fitzsimmons: I like to take pieces and put them together in different and unique ways. I try to take various fashions at a time and put my own personal twist on them.
CF: What city do you think is the most stylish?
JF: I think every city has a different style and that you can find something unique to be admired from each one. I haven't been to Europe (so sad) so I don't know what I am missing out on there, but I can say I love New York City. There are so many styles to see there and I love that variety.
CF: Who are some of your favorite designers?
JF: In my clothes, I want to be comfortable and confident. Recently, I have really been into We the Free by FreePeople and B.B. Dakota is always a favorite of mine too. I like taking their simple and inexpensive pieces and spicing them up with accessories.
