Spring is in the air, summer is almost here and creativity still lies within fashion and there’s nothing more I like than finding that one needle in a haystack. Whoever said art wasn’t fashion definitely didn’t know how to shop. So, careful fashion connoisseurs, for you may be that needle.
Names: Chantel Edinborough and Lushea Taylor
CollegeFashionista: What are your must-have beauty essentials?
Chantel Edinborough: My beauty essential will have to be Vaseline! You can use it for anything. On your lips or even on your eyes for that extra shine. Also mascara, this essential changed my life (laughs out loud), eyeliner and Yves Saint Laurent.
Lushea Taylor: MAC Blusher, MAC foundation and purple curl mascara.
CF: What’s your most expensive luxury?
CE: My most expensive luxury is my nan’s blue silk scarf. She gave it to me before she passed away. It may not actually be expensive, but to me it’s priceless. I absolutely love it!
LT: My MAC products are my the most expensive. However, my mood changes if I do not have my £1 lipgloss from!
CF: How would you describe your style?
CE: My style – I would describe it as elegant and wacky. I like to mix both looks together. Sometimes, if I go for the elegant look, then I’m really elegant, and if I want a wacky style, then I’m really wacky!
LT: I am quite quirky, I like to colour co-ordinate and I also wear trendy clashing jewellery, to keep a sense of "Lushea Swag." I think it reflects my comical side!
How To: It’s no secret that accessorizing is the key trend for this season and tights or leggings are necessary in spring. So try styling up your outfit. Try some sleek and sexy Henry Holland tights; this will accentuate your legs, and has been spotted on the likes of Jessie J and Frankie Sandford. When accessorizing be brave and bold with it, for bright colours are in fashion so you may even want to try Henry Holland colour card tights. Add an oversized bag, shades, and chunky bracelets, vintage jewellery or even an panama hat.
In the wise words of Mademoiselle Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, "Fashion fades, only style remains the same."
