Scarf it down! This Fashionista donned a floral infinity scarf — the ideal transition into fall. Here, in DC, it stays warm (actually humid) through Septemper, but we've recently been seeing a sudden change in climate. It can be difficult when seasons are changing to know how to adjust your wardrobe accordinly, but this Fashionista has it down pat. She paried her infinity scarf with a light white sweater – the perfect imbetween of summer and fall.

CollegeFashionista: What was your favorite collection at NY Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012?

Ridhima Chopra: My favorite collection from NY Fashion Week was Cynthia Rowley. Her S/S 2012 collection was literally glowing  from the glamorous florals to the animated shapes and the mirror runway, the dresses were feminine and flawy yet so edgy.

CF: What blogs do you follow?

RC: I have two favorite blogs: The very famous, Sartorialist and The Man Repeller. The Sartorialist is great for candids and high fashion inspiration, it's real people with impeccable taste. I have a huge girl crush on Leandra Medine, who is the brain behind The Man Repeller. While I don't have the courage or the creativity to create outfits as original as hers, I admire people who can make fashion unique in a world of billions of people. Medine has influenced me to play with jewelry and get a bit more creative – certainly, less is not more!

CF: What trend are you most looking forward to for fall?

RC: Some of my favorite styles are making it big this season! I love a good peplum silhouette, finding one to suit different body types is hard, but it is a definite hit for the fall. While fun colors and prints are stilling going strong into fall, I am most excited for a lot of leather, lace and most importantly sheen!

How To: Pair a light sweater like this one from T by Alexander Wang with jeans and an infinity scarf. Grab a bag and throw on some flats and you'll be ready to transition into fall!
