When the winds are rough, the temperatures are below freezing and the rain is pouring down, what’s a Fashionista/o to wear? It can be a challenge to look chic in the midst of a storm. This Fashionista that I found on the way to class shows us how it’s done and here’s to wishing a safe week to the Fashionistas/os in the east! Stay strong!
Name: Zeeky Le
Major: Finance
Year: Senior
College Fashionista: What are you wearing?
Zeeky Le: Well today was actually a bum day for me. I’m wearing a Northface jacket, my knit headband is from Urban Outfitters, my rain boots are DSW and I got my scarf at a scarf kiosk at the Polaris Parkway mall in Ohio.
CF: How does your style reflect your personality?
ZL: How I’m feeling reflects what I wear. Today my look is carefree and laid back- very chill. I’m also trying to bundle up at the same time!
CF: If you could raid anyone’s closet who would it be and why?
ZL: Very Wang, just because.
CF: What’s your favorite fashion accessory?
ZL: I love earmuffs. They’re just so cute and cozy. However, I’m not wearing any today.
How To: To brave the winter storm, make sure you bundle up with warm layers. Try a stretchy skinny jegging, to keep the look stylish but comfortable. Layer up under a winter white jacket. Accessorize with a coordinating scarf and a knit earwarmer. If you’re expecting rain or snow, wear a good pair of rain boots, adorable print boots like this Fashionista’s really make a statement. Tip: When your hair is covered by a knit headband, earmuffs or a hat, a side swept bang keeps you looking feminine!
