Making it to an 8 a.m. class is no easy feat. Most students just roll out of bed, put on the nearest pair of sweats, throw on a hoodie and trudge to class. It's not any easier either, when just a few days before the streets were covered in snow and there are still little patches of ice and snow on the ground.
Still, there's no need to let your style suffer because of chilly winter weather. For an easy early morning looking do what this Fashionisto did; throw a peacoat over a sweatshirt, put on a pair of dark denim jeans (just as easy to put on as a pair of sweats, I promise!) and a pair of stylish boots for a more put together look. You can find a great pair of similar boots at Urban Outfitters or Aldo and H&M has stylish jackets that won't break the bank.
This is a great early morning look since most students own many of these items. Dark denim always looks better than a lighter wash because they look a little more professional and pairing them with a peacoat looks a little more refined. Plus, looking good in the morning can be a great confidence booster, which can help you power through the rest of your day.
If 8 a.m. is too early for you to even think about putting on something else besides sweats or pajama pants, then try laying out your clothes the night before class. It's also a good idea to remember to buy simple staples and key pieces for your wardrobe, that way it's easier to put together an outfit for class in the morning.
