For so long the fashion world seems to be on the search for the “new black.” One season they're pronouncing “red is the new black;” next thing you know “navy is the new black.” You catch my drift.
But this Fashionisto illustrates my current stance on fashion: “Black is the new black.” Instead of trying to outdo this color, this Fashionisto shows us how black reigns supreme in a wardrobe. His lightweight henley is a perfect layering piece. In the hot summer weather, a thin shirt will suffice. But when it comes time for that nighttime bonfire at the beach, layer your henley under a black sweater or coat. He topped off his dark ensemble with black desert boots and a skull cap.
This week, stop fighting it and embrace the black clothing in your wardrobe. This classic color isn't going out of style anytime soon.
