I think all Fashionistas and Fashionistos alike recall when H&M first announced that they would be partnering with Versace to bring an affordable collection to its stores. For fashionable college students living on a budget, this announcement was almost too good to be true. But it happened, and those of us lucky enough were actually able to nab a few pieces from the ever so desired Versace for H&M collection.
This Fashionisto was one of those lucky ones. I captured him on his way to class rocking these graphic crocodile pants from the collection paired with a black oxford shirt, cream sweater and black combat boots. While these pants are definitely a bold and daring choice, I think he does a great job of pulling it off by sticking to more neutral colors for the rest of his outfit.
Graphic print pants were definitely a big trend we saw previewed last fall on the runways at New York Fashion Week and now it's trickling down to the streets. Print pants prove to be great “statement pieces” and are not all that difficult to pull off.
Hint: If you're choosing to wear a colorful print pant, try not to overdo it and wear a matching print shirt; that could be overkill. Instead, coordinate it with neutrals like our brave Fashionisto did here. And if the print pant happens to be neutral, feel free to go crazy with a loud color or fun print. Because, what's life without a little fun?
