SPECIAL FEATURE: Men’s Fashion Advice

Dear Fashionistos,

We feel you have been deprived of street style from the fashionable elite on IU's campus. Don't worry we see you walking to class, out at the bars and hanging on your porch and finally we decided to capture your style for everyone else to see. Bi-monthly segments of Fashionistos will be coming now from IU's very own fashion Guru, Jake. Hope you all enjoy.

Style On

Vintage is in and this Fashioninsto kept it classic with a grey v-neck sweater and black pants. Don’t forget to add layers, not only for warmth, but for an extra spark of style. This Fashionisto added a pop of color with a red polo, but feel free to play around with any collared shirt to add to your personal style.

One of my favorite styles to play with is the indie rock style. This Fashionisto rocked out his indie style with a graphic tee under a long sleeve button up, along with his black knit cap for fall. Paired with a slim fit or skinny jean is the best way to keep with the style. I love converse, and for you other Chuck Taylor enthusiasts this style is the perfect time to lace up a classic chuck or modern print hi-top.

Suspenders are no longer just for keeping wardrobe malfunctions at bay. They are quickly becoming the hot new item for Fashionistos everywhere.  This Fashionisto wore his yellow suspenders with a blue polo and a white and blue pant and couldn't have executed it better!
