This summer I’ve been heavily drawn to the fringe trend; I think it’s a great way to minimize the need for extra accessories during summertime when everyone is going for an easy, minimal look. I love the white fringe along the neckline on this Fashionista’s top, it reminds me of a tank version of the top Pocahontas wore in the Disney film. I think fringed necklines are great for girls with small busts because of all the movement it creates on the body.
Fringe is also a great way to add some mystery and drama to your wardrobe because it allows your skin to peek through without being totally revealed. I’m really digging these fringed bandeaus from Urban Outfitters—they are great for the hot summer weather and to avoid those pesky strap tan lines. I’ve also been drooling over this fringed maxi cape from Free People; it’s the perfect extra layer for those summer nights and the perfect bathing suit cover up for pool parties! If you’re not into wearing fringe on your body but still want to try out the fringe trend, boho bags with fringed ends are the perfect summer accessory.
I love that this Fashionista styled her neutral colored fringed top with a bold, lavender cut-off shorts. The lavender cut-offs really soften up the look and make it feminine. She finished off her look by stepping into a pair of red Sam Edelman gladiator sandals. I really like how the red studded detailing give the sandals a sassy flair. Whenever I’m wearing any shade of brown I love pairing it with something red or coral because those colors together really create an earthy vibe to one’s outfit. Altogether, this Fashionista is rocking the perfect minimal look to combat the summer heat.
