You know what they say, “two is better than one” and what better example of this saying than two fashionable friends. I couldn’t help but to notice their colorful looks while out near campus. Of course the people you surround yourself with can easily influence your fashion choices; it’s been that way ever since kindergarten. But, I’d say these two Fashionistas took this summer’s color blocking trend and made it uniquely their own.
On the left we have Channing rocking her Olympian Blue colored shorts and solid black v-neck. However, it’s her accessories that I like the best. This Fashionista paired a skinny leopard print belt with her shorts and kicked her look off with hot pink loafers; what’s not to love? Then, on the right, we have Allie who perfectly paired her chambray shirt with another Pantone Fall 2012 color, Ultramarine Green.
There are certain staples that Fashionistas everywhere look for when they are ripping through the racks. Personally, I jump when I spot both a good chambray shirt and an animal print belt. These are necessities in my closet, and I’m sure others can agree. If you’re still out hunting for these items (which are perfect fall essentials), look no further than this Selvedge chambray shirt. Weather is a big factor to consider when getting dressed in these scorching months so chambray is a great alternative to a denim shirt; it will still give you that cool and casual look without adding unnecessary warmth. It’s always fun to play off of each other’s style from one Fashionista to the next, just like these two! Hopefully, you can pull it off just as nicely.
