Accessories were made to be additions to outfits and a lot of people have the tendency to overdo them. With increasing trends of chunky necklace and bangles, it's hard to imagine a way to look cool with fewer accessories on. What some people don't know is that minimalism is also a trend that I have seen all over the place. Minimalism can help you shy away from the bold statement pieces and enter into a more casual daytime look. This Fashionista captivated exactly what I believe is the new way to rock accessories. She sports a basic patterned shirt and jeans, but manages to dress them up with just a few key items. Her MARC by Marc Jacobs metal aviator sunglasses, which can be found at Neiman Marcus, are a simple touch to your everyday class to your attire. Aviator sunglasses, give a laid back cool approach and on the fall days when the sun comes in and out, it always nice to block the rays in style. Another style of sunglasses that seem to never go out of style are the classic Ray Ban original "Wayfarer" sunglass, which can be found at many department and sunglass/glasses stores, but also at Ray-ban.com.
My favorite part of her outfit is something that many people wouldn't notice right away. It is this Fashionista's nail polish color and multiple rings. People wouldn't normally think that nail polish could be an accessory, but with eye-popping colors such as Ogre-the-Top Blue (from OPI's Shrek line) paired with vintage rings, it is hard to miss. Rings are another good way to wear jewelry without even looking like your trying. Those are the types of accessories that I aim to buy. I love when people can achieve a put together look that still looks almost effortless. This week look out for fun new nail colors such as OPI's new line. My favorite pick would have to be DS Mystery. It has the cool purple tones of winter, but a subtle shimmer that makes it still stand out. This can be found at most nail salons as well as at opi.com.
