I love all of the great styles of denim jackets that are available. A good denim jacket can transform anyones outfit into either grudge or even just add a little interesting touch. One may think this look is reserved for guys in bands like the Ramones but I find that this get-up will fit anybody who's willing to sport a bold look. I have also seen celebs such as Nicole Richie and the Olsen twins sporting their denim jackets in various ways either with patterned dresses or layered upon a bunch of different pieces. This week's Fashionista chose to keep it simple. She wore a very light colored denim jacket with a few pins on the shoulder. She than chose a pair of high waisted black jeans that she belted with a small grey top. Her shoes were laceless oxfords that are shiny and great for fall. What completed her look were her thick rimmed glasses. What's even better is this look has DIY potential. You can take it a step further by adding bleach to make it lighter or even sew or iron on your own patches from your favorite bands. This style of denim also comes in a vest form that looks great with long sleeve shirts and layers of jewelry. I am a firm believer that denim can complete anyone's look and be a positive reinforcement in anybody's wardrobe!
