Color, proportions, and strong tailoring were themes at J.Crew's spring 2012 ready-to-wear show. Models strutted their stuff in classic silhouettes; but what made this show different was the juxtaposition of how the models paired these classic pieces with pops of major color.
When I spotted today's fashion duo I immediately thought back to J.Crew's spring show. The Fashionista on the left chose to stick in the neutral hues with her oversized jacket and long sleeve gray shirt. She brought in just the right amount of color in with her flats that brightened up her look. The Fashionista on the right opted for blacks, nudes and browns, but made her look unique through playing with proportions.
This week don't try too hard with fashion and focus your attention on color, proportions and classic pieces for a modern Americana look.
