As students file back to the UCSD campus for winter quarter, I keep a close eye on some of the winter fashion people are bringing back. One of my absolute favorite trends is the Sherpa vest. Sherpa vests are often suede or soft polyester on the outside and lined with super comfortable fleece on the inside. This cozy outwear piece can be worn simply with leggings and a long sleeve shirt in the winter, as this Fashionista demonstrates, but it can also work well with shorts and moccasins for spring. Piperlime carries a good selection of Sherpa coats and vests for this winter.
This Fashionista had some great accessories as well. This Christmas, watches seemed to be on everyone’s list. However, the metal watch trend is becoming a bit overdone. It was incredibly refreshing to see this Fashionista’s leather watch band. Finally, she tops off her ensemble with the ultimate in cool comfort: the moccasin boot. These boots complete her look and give it a natural flow.
