There are a lot of things in this world that make me unbearably happy (pandas, food, the Giants in the Super Bowl, Jesse McCartney), but lately I find that nothing makes me quite as happy as seeing a well-dressed guy. It seems that it's much more likely for a girl to be conscious of how she is dressing and current trends, but men seem to take a backseat to fashion. Many think, “Well, as long as it's clean and I don't look completely awful, I'm good to go.”
That's why spotting a Fashionisto like today's feature makes me giddy with fashionable excitement. He embraces the color block trend as well as any trendy Fashionista by donning an argyle sweater with numerous bright colors.
“I don't like black very much,” this Fashionisto told me. “I feel like people use it when they don't know how to wear color. It's a cop out.”
And as a walking rainbow, I couldn't agree more. Wearing bright colors will not only make you stand out in a sea of black, but it will make your own features pop. Additionally, I believe wearing bright colors enhances a person's mood for the day: when you look like a bucket of sunshine, you feel like a bucket of sunshine.
As if the sweater didn't make this Fashionisto well-dressed enough, he tops it off with a long walking coat, perfect for not only looking more business professional but for keeping you warm on these unfathomable cold days of winter.
ZZ Top sang it best, “Every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man.”
