Though the style, trim and tint may vary over time, blue denim has yet to go out of style. In fact it has only become more versatile and reminiscent of the '90s denim on denim approach. Though jeans and denim shorts are the easiest go to bottoms, many of us fell in love with the chambray this past spring and summer. Denim tops have become even more prominent as the new fall lines emerge from retailers and designers.
While on her way back to campus, this Fashionista adds an edgy flare to her feminine look by throwing a denim vest over a navy patterned dress and beautiful turquoise statement necklace. The blues from the dress and the necklace are tied together flawlessly by the vintage wash of the vest as well.
After fawning over the new arrivals from a couple of my favorite brands it is easy to see that denim tops, jackets and all will be a staple in retail stores throughout the fall. Although they have been reformed from some of the styles and colors seen in the past. Some of my favorites include these pieces from Urban Outfitters, such as a polka-dot denim button-up, a sleeveless racer back denim button-up, a cropped denim moto jacket and a denim vest similar to this week’s Fashionista’s adorable accent.
Add a little denim to your day. It will not be hard this fall to find some pieces that are unique and dynamic. You can even tailor a denim top to your own personal taste with a fun DIY project. Do denim your way!
