There are many unanswered questions in this world. Who am I? What is the purpose of life? How do I look nice during exams? I am here to answer the last question. It is once again exam time in sunny St. Andrews and I am among the masses of students that struggle to get dressed properly when stressed. Luckily, there is light in this dark time — today’s Fashionista.

This Fashionista sports an all-black ensemble — a timeless look. Even if she had just left it at that, she would have gone above and beyond all expectations. But this Fashionista pairs her outfit with a gorgeous gold necklace and some incredibly sweet flats. My favorite part of her outfit, though, is her nude leather jacket. It is the perfect accessory to make this Fashionista look great. Her jacket is, oddly enough, not unattainable. Neither is the rest of her outfit. Her ensemble is made up completely of high street fashion.

For a look like this Fashionista’s, try Urban Outfitters for a great pair of essential black jeans, Topshop for a simple and chic top, and Zara for a gorgeous leather jacket. I know that we all want to be comfortable for exams and this is a user-friendly way not to compromise comfort for style. In lu of real jeans, throw on some jeggings (it'll be our little secret). This Fashionista sports a lovely top, but you could substitute it for a simple black tee with a pocket. See? Effortless. 

All in all, this Fashionista shows us that looking nice during exams isn’t out of reach. Add an interesting jacket to a simple outfit on the way out the door. Quick, easy, effective. The key is simplicity, and simplicity is the prerequisite to elegance.
