School will be back in a few weeks; some are excited while others hesitantly let go of the lovely summer days and life. I have to admit I belong to the latter. Thus if you are one of us, join the bandwagon of starting the fall fashion with a summer touch. Our current Fashionista shows us how.
Florals, without a doubt, conquered our summer months. Our Fashionista wears a lazy floral dress shirt over a pair of jean shorts. To not appear too bright or too summery, she wore a dark-colored shirt. The big brown belt softened the look of the floral print and giving it an earthy look. Her cute flower ring served as the icing of the cake – it’s a cute and girly touch. She then wore a pair of oxford heels à la Alexa Chung for a smart and classy finish. Lastly, her long and wavy hairstyle added a whimsical vibe that resembles that of Zooey Deschanel.
There are numerous pieces of floral clothing for any season. Floral prints are versatile as they can be paired with anything. If you opt for the vintage look, try a long sleeve button-up shirt with skirt or high-waist pants. Feminine and girly vibe could go with the vintage look as well – just add necklaces, rings and earrings or try wearing floral shoes, maybe these floral Doc Martens? Long sleeveless floral tops are perfect for leggings and skinny jeans for the laidback, it-girl look. So Fashionistas, if you cannot let go of the summer just yet, flaunt those florals!
