When I was younger, I never could understand the whole daylight savings time changes. I never knew when I was going to lose an hour or gain another, but thank goodness for smartphones. One way I remember it now is, “spring forward and fall back”. So it definitely sucks to lose an hour, but we all have to look on the bright side and remember it stays a lot lighter late in the night. It also is a huge reminder that spring is coming, and that means summer is close too.
It's tricky though isn't it? It's sunny and beautiful out one day, and the next could be cold and absolutely miserable. The weather has been entirely inconsistent because Mother Nature is too busy trying to figure out what season to stick to. I spotted a Fashionista that managed to beat Mother Nature in her cruel games and balanced her chic style according to the weather.
The Fashionista is wearing a faux-fur sweater in gray from Armani Exchange. The Fashionista chooses to stay true to herself while she also enjoys trying the latest trend, faux-fur. It was a perfect balance and compromise for the chilly spring day. While browsing through Armani Exchange, I stumbled upon an adorable sweater that is a super popular trend right now. The knit cropped sweater from Armani Exchange goes perfect with shorts for a warmer day or chic with skinny jeans for a chillier day.
The Fashionista is also wearing jeggings from Hollister Co. in a dark wash. In my personal experience, Hollister Co. bottoms seemed to run a little small so definitely check out the size chart before purchasing.
She tops it off with adorable Dr. Martens in maroon. Dr. Martens offers a variety of styles such as boots, booties, pumps, etc. The online website offers a lot of different styles and colors, so I would check it out.
So while Mother Nature's sorts out her mood swings, let's hang tight for spring to finally arrive. I know I can't wait till I start wearing my new spring wardrobe!
