Winter always makes it a little harder to find Fashionistas and Fashionistos that really stand out. I was lucky enough to spot this gorgeous Fashionista and her wonderful coat studying outside of the library. My advice this week is for lovers of the camel and tan tones trend who aren’t necessarily peacoat wearing people. Camel and tan colors translate really well into any winter wardrobe and there are a lot of ways you can work this fantastic trend into your closet. My personal favorite is to incorporate it into your outer wear. You have a lot of options here as well; capes, peacoats, and the featured way, suede coats. Personally, I’m a huge fan of suede coats being a major trend again, they’re very instrumental in taking a simple look to the next level. My style advice this week focuses around that taking simple to the next level aspect of the trend.
There are a lot of ways to revamp a simple outfit but if you’re looking for a more rustic look, look no further than a suede coat. Suede coats are a lot easier to pull off than one would expect, but there are a few things you need to keep in mind with them. First, and most importantly, they’re not really great for snowy or those gross ‘wintery-mix’ days. If you’re going to be wearing them in weather that involves anything wet, make sure your coat (or boots!) has been properly treated for water resistance.
When it comes to the more fashion related side of the topic, we can get a little more detailed – literally. Suede coats are all about the little details. If you want to keep it simple and more versatile stick to Posted on Categories Uncategorized
