As we’re slowly moving from the calmness of fall into the madness of the holiday shopping season, it isn’t always easy to be practical while still staying trendy during a shopping outing. Plagued by the tradition to shop until you quite literally drop (otherwise known as Black Friday), many Fashionistas get intimidated by all of the hype. With unheard of sales allowing us to finally afford that new Michael Kors clutch or Jeffrey Campbell pumps, most Fashionistas are anything but calm and collected. But with some comfortable boots, denim-less pants and a chic sweater, it is possible to look composed throughout all of the shopping madness.
This Fashionista was spotted wearing open black and white print cardigan over a simple white tank top. On the bottom she wore light gray skinny trousers and pair of black low-wedged booties. She accessorized with a gold-chain necklace, oversized sunglasses and a black and brown shoulder bag.
This Fashionista is the perfect example of how to be fashion forward while staying practical. Her layers are perfect for temperate changes throughout the day while her low-wedged booties support her feet and pull her whole outfit together.

When choosing an outfit that’s both functional and fashionable for this season’s holiday shopping chaos, stick to the basics and accessorize big. Stackable bracelets, a statement necklace or even a super stylish bag can really make your outfit pop and stand out amongst the sweats and UGGs. Patterns are another way to pull a simple outfit together, but try to stick to only one or two patterned pieces per outfit. While many women still chose to shop in a drab outfit, I say it’s our job as Fashionistas to rock a fabulous outfit (while staying comfortable of course).
