Going back to school is not just a transition from summer fun to school work, but it’s also a transition in clothing. Fun summer dresses are traded in for more appropriate fall items, such as pants paired with warmer tops. Although this transition is amongst us it’s not too late to sport your sundresses once last time!
I spotted this Fashionista strolling through the ped mall in downtown Iowa City. Her outfit immediately caught my attention as casual chic, and perfect for back to school fashion. Everyone loves to make a good first impression, so on your first day of classes why not sport a casual sundress like this one. It’s also last call for wearing white since Labor Day is just around the corner. This Fashionista paired her dress with a mustard colored belt, which cinched at the waist. Not only was this a perfect addition to her outfit, but it made it extremely flattering. Without this belt the dress would not have given this Fashionista any shape. I also like how she was wearing navy sandals. I love navy and white together, and thought all three colors meshed really well. My advice for you Fashionistas out there is to take advantage of the warm weather while you can because the cold temperatures will be rolling in sooner than you think. Bust out your favorite sundress and wear it to class. You too can look like a casual bombshell walking through the pedmall!
