You can find inspiration anywhere. A painting. A movie. Another Fashionista. Inspiration is everywhere and I always find it fascinating to see what inspires any given outfit.
Seeing this Fashionistas outfit I immediately thought of Alexander Wang. Not his ready to wear collection, but his collection of fabulous metallic shoes for fall. While Wang’s shoes may not be in every college student’s budget, it was nice to see this Fashionista incorporating elements of his design into her own look. Metallics are back in a big way this fall and the bronze color of her skirt is similar to the unexpected metallic found in the fabulous footwear. The bow detail at her waist echoes the same feminine feel of the draping down the heel of the shoe. Sporting a pair of strappy open toed sandals, this Fashionista also illustrates that sandals are not just for summer.
