We've seen mini skirts, maxi skirts, and skirts so short they don't even look like a skirt grace the pages of CollegeFashionista. But today's Fashionista is here to show us the power of mid calf skirts this season. Taking cue from both J. Crew's fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear and Marc Jacobs fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear, today's Fashionista gave her own interpretation of this length. Her airy black skirt was breathable while she trotted around campus plus functional due to it's dark color and chiffon material.
When packing for back-to-school, consider ditching those mini skirts that you are still holding onto from high school. Mature your look with a more conservative skirt like today's trendsetter. And don't think conservative means frumpy- this season (and in life in general) revealing less is often more.
