Lately I have been obsessed with all sorts of prints and patterns. Remember how I had said I was color shy and sticking to my basics? Well low and behold being back in my city of San Francisco has helped me find more inspiration to get out of my comfort zone. Paisley, polka dots, stripes, tapestry prints—I’m all about it. As fall is fully underway, make the transition from denim cut-offs to statement piece pants.
This week’s Fashionista was spotted in floral skinny pants paired with a soft rose T-shirt and denim colored button down layered over. She finished the look with a pair of dark beige studded sandals. She transitioned the summer floral print into fall perfectly by pairing it with warm fall colors. I also love the simplicity of her outfit—just right for any daytime occasion and easily modified for the evening with a pair of strappy heels and a nice warm coat.
This fall there’s an abundance of prints and styles to choose from. Printed pants can be a dynamic statement piece ready for any type of day thrown at you. For an everyday look, pair these multi-arrow pants with a black oversized sweater and black ankle boots. Patterns also look great on trouser-style pants. Pair these tapered pants from Topshop with a black chiffon button down tucked in the front and finish the look with black strappy heels.
