Walking (running) out of the dorm today, preoccupied with thoughts of midterms and the fact that I slept through my first class, I was immediately met by a gust of wind.  However, this wasn’t just any wind.  It was a warm wind.  In that split second all the worries of my day went away and the thoughts of a beautiful spring day came to my head.  When the hints of spring approach Gettysburg, campus visibly transforms.  All florals and colors being worn were accompanied by smiling faces which were accessorized with sunglasses.

This weeks Fashionista is looking on the bright side of Global Warming, literally, by taking advantage of the warm weather and breaking out her coral.  She empasizes the pop of color by incorporating different brown materials with a clean white eyelet skirt.  Any shade of orange is an absolute must in every element of fashion this season.  I, myself, am joining in the trend with my freshly painted nails with “Mad About Mango” nail polish from Revlon (and you won’t believe, it’s scented too!) 

Shed the leather and switch up the tall boots for flats or sandals for an easy transition to a summer outfit.  When going for both a classy and sassy look you can’t go wrong with stores such as, J.Crew and Madewell.  They offer wardrobe essentials that can be incorporated into any outfit.  To copy the look of today’s Fashionista use these inspired looks from J.Crew and try an eyelet dress with bold oxfords and a bomber jacket.
