Everyone knows that fall is right around the corner and I know that some of us just cannot wait. Goodbye summer, hello fall! I bumped into this Fashionista who just couldn’t agree more.
Any shade of orange has always been a challenge for me. It is not a color that I am easily drawn to, but the way this Fashionista put her outfit together makes me want to find a top in this exact shade! I currently have my eye on this one. Orange has been all over the runways during New York Fashion Week. This glorious color has been used by designers such as Altuzarra, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Prabal Gurung. I’ve also been seeing this color in stores on blazers, chiffon tops and patterned pants. Go bolder by wearing this orange dress, which is a similar and cheaper alternative to Rebecca Minkoff’s dress. Or start small by sporting a small accessory, like a belt or necklace, to brighten up your outfit.
While summer is coming to an end, putting on bright hue is just the way to get you noticed this fall. I love how this Fashionista balances these two bold colors by pairing them with something more neutral, like these skinny jeans. Giving the bottom of your jeans a slight cuff is a great way to transition from the summer to the fall. This Fashionista is definitely ready for fall if she’s wearing her trusty suede booties: something every girl needs. I believe that it is a staple for any wardrobe — and how can you not fall in love with these Sam Edelman’s? Or opt for wearing this beautiful, tangerine shade on your feet with these boots.
I always love challenging myself to incorporate colors in my outfit that I hardly wear. This Fashionista has definitely inspired me to try this amazing, citrus hue this season. It’s always fun to take on a new challenge — see if this color works for you and let me know how it goes!
