Following on from winter’s statement coats is this spring’s plethora of signature jackets. Fashionistas around the MSU campus have recognized the need for stylish cover-ups during this difficult time in between seasons.
Bundled up against the fickle weather, this Fashionista caught my eyes by donning a lovely shoulder-enhanced jacket. It seems that there has been a recovering value-added shoulder trend this spring with runaways teemed with padded shoulder alternatives. This Fashionista’s adorable piece embraced the shoulder-pad design, which not only provided a sense of confidence but also helped her transition from a girl to a mature lady. Besides, by nipping in at the waist, this jacket perfectly flattered her figure. Underneath, she sported a blue long knitted top, and paired it with a pair of grey wool leggings, all of which, helped strengthen her modern look. For shoes, she opted for a pair of white snow boots, the color of which was easy on the eyes. She accessorized with a bright pink bag, which was a wonderful addition as it gave the whole outfit a pop of color. To finish if off, she gathered her hair into a loose bun showing off her beautiful face.
