At a quick glance, today's Fashionista resembles Rosie the Riveter. It wasn't just the identical way her handkerchief was wrapped around her head or the fact that the face of Geraldine Doyle is similar to that of today's Fashionista. The resemblance was more about the attitude and the way today's Fashionista carried herself that echoed that of Doyle in the poster.
I'm very much into hair, changing the color of my own way too many times to admit. I also can be commonly found wearing a headpiece in my hair tying it in all sorts of weird ways. That's me, the hair lady, and I suppose that's the natural connection I found to today's Fashionista. She took a cheap, easy to find bandana and made her outfit complete. It's really that simple!
