As we approach the middle August we start to feel the in between seasonal changes. While many of us are coveting new fall pieces it's way too hot to be sporting an anorak or any heavy clothing in New York City at the moment. Blazers are a great item that were a big item in the spring but they seem keeping strong this upcoming season. Celebs such Ashley Olsen, Keira Knightley and Gwyneth Paltrow are just a few select names that have been sporting this polished look. Not only do they come in so many styles like cropped or long. Some Blazers even come in bold colors or in patterns! They also look amazing with anything ranging from jeans to skirts and also dresses. I saw this fashionista around New York City and thought she had the perfect example. She chose to pair her mens wear inspired jacket with a blue multi colored striped skirt and a blouse tucked in loosely. To finish off her outfit she chose a pair of brown cowboy boots and a small necklace.
Hint: Blazers can be styled in so many different ways. I totally recommend this one from Bloomingdales. I love the sleeves on this blazer because you can see the striped cuffs. Another jacket I'm coveting is this one because its a different option than the black. Remember to switch up your look with different accessories such as chunky necklaces and bracelets.
