Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Claire Stern and I'm a junior at Barnard College, Columbia University. I was born on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and grew up in the small town of Bronxville, NY. I can most often be spotted wearing dark colors, and my personal style can be described as tomboy chic. Sienna Miller and Rachel Bilson are my primary fashion influences. I love discovering new trends, and adore having access to New York City as my extended classroom – I frequently scan the sidewalks for fresh looks. I like reading, traveling and trying out new restaurants. I am a frequent concertgoer, and I love falling under the spell of the city’s burgeoning live music scene. I am a complete anglophile and dream of living in a flat in London. I idolize Carrie Bradshaw and enjoy watching romantic comedies. I've served as Editorial Intern at Us Weekly Magazine before entering the world of trend forecasting at WGSN. Currently, I'm Deputy Arts & Entertainment Editor of the Columbia Daily Spectator.
