I’m really excited to continue writing for CollegeFashionista this semester. The fall term was a fun and busy one in Boston but soon I’ll be packing all of my things into a few suitcases (I don’t know how I’m going to do it) and moving to Paris! Although I’m nervous to move to an entirely different city whose language is not my native tongue, I’m excited to fully immerse myself in the city of love, lights and fashion.
I cannot wait to see what the twenty arrondissements of Paris have to offer in terms of street style, fashions, trends and boutiques. I know that I won’t be disappointed! I will be continuing my quest for more experience in the fashion industry by hopefully working for a French fashion company while I’m there. I don't know where I'll be yet but I can't wait to gain experience in a different country.
I hope to adopt as much Parisian style as I can but I will also be bringing some of my own personal style with me. I'd describe my style as urban-chic with a hint of bohemian. I picture myself taking the metro to class in dark skinnies and a pleated winter jacket while carrying a black leather envelope tote. Or I can see myself walking along the Seine in a sweater dress and knee high boots. And of course, I will be eating a lot of good food with great friends dressed in my favorite jeans, infinity scarf and a silk blouse. I can't wait to share all of my experiences with you all and I am excited to experience the wonders of Paris in these next four months!
