My name is Enesha, I’m originally from the mitten and now a transplant in the windy city. I love Chicago despite the wind (I’m forced to abandon one of my favorite accessories, hats for obvious reasons). This city has an abundance of culture and it’s full of life — I’m convinced it’s a hidden gem in the midwest. This is my junior year at Columbia College Chicago as a Journalism and Public Relations major. I’ll someday be a shark in the media industry but for now I’m swmming along as a mere betta. When I’m not in my comfort zone of writing and attending class, I’m leading a floor of 50 plus students as a resident assistant. I plan programs, promote community and I’m a resource for many students. It’s a great job and it takes me out of my element. Fashion has a great impact on my life as it is a visual snapshot of me. My personal style is deeply influenced by my environment and mood. I’m always scatterbrained — a blemish I try to makeup. However it transitions into my wardrobe which is mostly a foundation of prints and patterns. The key places I tend to shop are Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters and H&M. One could have all the clothes in the world but if you don’t know how to wear them, what would be the point?
